The week of July 4th

We'll start you off with Baby bit's newest trick. She loves to sit up all by herself, for about 5seconds. And she's very proud of her wobbly self!
~~~
Farm share pick up!
Lookie who also has a farm share. It's Momma H.
and Papa H & PQ too. We had a great time touring the farm with our friends. Lil'bit had a blast.
~~~
And now to the big lake in that neighboring state. My favorite place on Earth! My Mom's parents camps when I was growing up, and now my Aunt's and Uncle's are kind enough to share it with us still. Always makes me feel great to be here. With some of my favorite people on Earth.
GrUncle Rick had a nice time playing Barbies with Lil'Bit. He dressed her and choose her shoes all own his own. Too Funny!

A little cool and breezy but not enough to keep the kids out of the water.

Can't believe how much this little guy has grown!

Every year we all get matching Tees for the day of the 4th.

Too windy for a camp fire? We'll just improvise.

We didn't think there would be any fireworks in the bay but a neighbor two cabins over went for it anyway. Made us think of the verse "the bombs bursting in air" the wind was blowing them right at us they were going off directly over our heads. Incredible, but it had us running for cover at times, and we were afraid to go in our pop-up's for fear they might prove to be flammable!

The kids were ready for another day of fun in the sun.

and this time the weather cooperated. It was a gorgeous day!

Good thing we didn't take cover in the campers. These two buckets of spent firework casings were found around our campers! A little scary...

Honestly I am one blessed wife and Momma!

Our pop up is the first one with the open door. It was actually hubby's parents before he was even born. It's been taken care of so well that it still has years of life and fun left in it.

Baby Bit having a tubby in the sink I once had many a bath in.

Now this night was more like it. Calm and beautiful.

"Big sister, I love you so much I could eat you up!"

"Arms up" and she does it... another fun trick of Baby Bit.

"I had a little turtle his name was Tiny Tim."

Baby Bit enjoyed hanging out in the pop up with me while I packed up. You can see Big Sister and Daddy on the beach out the window.

Exhausting business all this fun!

Catching Up

I've got a lot to share. I'm starting with a few pictures taken just before Baby Bit was born. I didn't get a chance to post them and I thought you all might enjoy them. Fallowing those are some photos from the last month. We can't believe how fast time is flying by. Baby Bit is nearly 6 weeks old! She's already 11.5 lbs! Loving life as a family of four. Ready for some photos? Here we go.....
Lil'Bit and Daddy went for a hike together a week before Baby Bit's birth.
She is so excited to have her own Camelback (hydration backpack) for hiking this year. (Thank you again J.P.J.A.)
~~~
Had a walk on a beautiful trail just outside the "big city"
Just look at the size of that bump! She came 2 days later.
Baby Bit 1 week old
Lil'Bit learned to ride her bike without training wheels! Make sure you check out the video at the end of this posting.
Lovin' her baby
The H. Family came to meet our newest family member.
~~~

Baby bit lost her umbilical stump at her 2 week check up. Lil'Bit thought it was pretty neat.
~~~
Look who came to dinner-
The S. family it was so good to spend some time together!
~~~

I don't know what was so funny. But I LOVE these smiles!!!

~~~
Picked some strawberries with my girls, YUM!
~~~

~~~
Did I mention the strawberries were yummy? We just had to go pick more a few days later with C'Dude and Grampa this time.
~~~

Didn't get many photos for Fathers day. But we got Daddy a golf club, and he got one for Lil'Bit so they can play together.

~~~
Lil'Bit got in a little swimming while Daddy and Grampa S. helped put a dock in for a friend of the family.
