Grampa S. came to work on the upstairs Monday, just a few days before his birthday, so we had to have a little birthday celebration! Uncle T. and the Girls came over too!
In the background you can see how BIG "The Bump" is. You can also see how covered in drywall dust Uncle T. is.
After a weekend working with the "Spencer Family" Grampa and Grandma S. came on Monday to help do some blow in insulation. I think Grandma was supposed to have a relaxing day of visiting and playing with Lil'Bit, but she ended up working upstairs too. She got the job of communicating back and forth between the machine operator outside (Grampa), and the blower up in the crawl space (Hubby).
He's got it under control
He looks scary but I kinda like the look!
Looks like cotton candy, kinda makes you want to dive in.
Very nice self portrait
Uh Oh, here came the ran. But they had it under control and under cover. Luckily the rain held off until most of the work was done.
In full working gear. Looking good!
Grandma and Grampa, Thank you again for coming to help out again!
We had a great weekend visiting with "The Spencer Family"
Momma "Spencer" , Polliwog, and Hubby having a good time.
Maddy and Lil'bit had a great time together, here they are checking out a bunch of deer who strolled through our yard.
Just look at that little smile! Polliwog is one of the sweetest babies ever!
Big Sissy Mac and Princess Polliwog
Ahh, now this is the reason for the visit. Big Sissy Mac covered in drywall dust after sanding the baby's room. THANK YOU!!!!
Just too cute!
Gage helped with the drywalling too. They had to vacuum him off before they sent him down from hanging out in the work zone.
Having fun
Momma Spencer you're lookin' good! Dry wall dust is a sure sign of progress!
Who says you have to wear shoes when sanding drywall? Nobody.
Hubby is soooo ready to have another little one around. He loved hanging with "The Wog"
Do you think she knows how adorable she is?
Sunday was a gorgeous day for playing outside and these two definitely enjoyed it.
So my photo-journalism skills must have been off because I didn't get any pictures of the Daddy's working upstairs, or the progress they made. The two guys were up very late on Saturday (long past everyone's bedtime) working. And got right back to it after breakfast on Sunday. The baby's room is ready for primer and paint, Lizzy's room is ready to be sanded, and they hung sheetrock in the bathroom!!! We are so blessed to have friends like these willing to give of themselves. We had so much fun hanging out with you guys! And WE THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!!
I love doing anything with my family... We like to get outside together best. Hiking, Fishing, Camping, Boating, Canoeing, Biking, Swimming, Sledding, skiing, snow man making... and if it's not a great day to get outside, playing games, reading together, cooking together, crafts,... Oh yeah, and taking pictures of it all! I'm a stay at home mom. And I wouldn't trade my life for the world!
