We've had a busy few days! It's a girl!
Baby Bit was born at 1:12am on Thursday May 21st. She weighed 7lbs 8.5oz and 20 inches long. We didn't get to go home until late Sunday night because she was a bit jaundice. But we're all home healthy now. I know some of you have been patiently awaiting some photos of our newest family member... well here they are!
Baby Bit
Lil'Bit was so sweet helping me out while I labored in the tub. She would come over and rub my arm, and just give me her love. So Loving.
And I could NOT have done it without the support, strength, and love of my husband. He never left my side and held me together (
literally).
Lil'bit was back in the room within minutes of her baby sister's birth.

We are beyond blessed by these two girls!
They needed to have Baby Bit under the lights for her
jaundice and they wanted her in the
incubator but I didn't want her away from us if we could help it. The little goggles she had to wear stressed her out enough. So I asked the nurse if we could just raise the hospital bed up to the light. She agreed that it would work, if I would wear sunglasses to sleep. No problem. Happy baby, happy momma!

Grampa stayed at our house and took care of
Lil'bit during our stay at the hospital. Here they are getting ready to head back home.

oh my gosh I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pics!!!! YOU DO look great and how STINKIN' CUTE IS SHE!?!?!? Do tell... were you surprised she was a girl? Or did you have a "feeling"?? :)
How wonderful!!! I can't wait to see you guys IN PERSON!! It feels like FOREVER!!!
