Catching Up

I've got a lot to share. I'm starting with a few pictures taken just before Baby Bit was born. I didn't get a chance to post them and I thought you all might enjoy them. Fallowing those are some photos from the last month. We can't believe how fast time is flying by. Baby Bit is nearly 6 weeks old! She's already 11.5 lbs! Loving life as a family of four. Ready for some photos? Here we go.....

Lil'Bit and Daddy went for a hike together a week before Baby Bit's birth.

Did I mention the strawberries were yummy? We just had to go pick more a few days later with C'Dude and Grampa this time.

Didn't get many photos for Fathers day. But we got Daddy a golf club, and he got one for Lil'Bit so they can play together.

Lil'Bit got in a little swimming while Daddy and Grampa S. helped put a dock in for a friend of the family.

Introducing Baby Bit!

We've had a busy few days! It's a girl! Baby Bit was born at 1:12am on Thursday May 21st. She weighed 7lbs 8.5oz and 20 inches long. We didn't get to go home until late Sunday night because she was a bit jaundice. But we're all home healthy now. I know some of you have been patiently awaiting some photos of our newest family member... well here they are!

Lil'Bit was so sweet helping me out while I labored in the tub. She would come over and rub my arm, and just give me her love. So Loving.

And I could NOT have done it without the support, strength, and love of my husband. He never left my side and held me together (literally).

Lil'bit was back in the room within minutes of her baby sister's birth.

We are beyond blessed by these two girls!

They needed to have Baby Bit under the lights for her jaundice and they wanted her in the incubator but I didn't want her away from us if we could help it. The little goggles she had to wear stressed her out enough. So I asked the nurse if we could just raise the hospital bed up to the light. She agreed that it would work, if I would wear sunglasses to sleep. No problem. Happy baby, happy momma!

Finally going home late Sunday night!

Grama and Grampa stayed at our house and took care of Lil'bit during our stay at the hospital. Here they are getting ready to head back home.
